2019 Novel Coronavirus
ACAIM has been closely following the worldwide pandemic of pneumonia caused by a novel strain of coronavirus, 2019 Novel Coronavirus (2019-nCoV), in Wuhan, China.
This outbreak emphasizes the importance of collaboration amongst providers, public health officials, and international health entities in addressing illness as a joint medical community. As our borders become ever less well-defined, we must work together to adequately address global health challenges. ACAIM is one platform for a multi-specialty approach to international medicine that can create effective solutions to improve the health of our populations around the world.
